After 9 played minutes Chilca got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Osoitz. 13 minutes into the match, Benjamin Sendoa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cosme Madeo, 1-0. In the 19th minute, Honorato Rutenio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arrutó FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Emiliano Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrutó FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Transito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Madeo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ceferino Chesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Reno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosme Madeo was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Emiliano Transito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emiliano Transito really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After 30 minutes, Everardo Osoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chilca and the Arrutó FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Chilca's zone, Emiliano Transito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Madeo came out of the goal and Emiliano Transito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Lorenzo Dantel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Everardo Osoitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceferino Chesus was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Honorato Rutenio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some careless play in the Chilca defense, Benjamin Sendoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Madeo. The Chilca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Madeo should have stopped the shot. In the 55th minute, Honorato Rutenio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marciano Reno came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ceferino Chesus could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Benjamin Sendoa put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cosme Madeo. Eliseo Matteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Sendoa charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Sendoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Arrutó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Sendoa to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Rutenio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Zacarias Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Madeo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
