Spectators: 7073 (Terracing: 5306, Seating: 1627, VIP seats: 140) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Augusto Quin got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Independiente Forever was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Matei to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Independiente Forever's Luciano Lapurdi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilfredo Iigo. Wilfredo Iigo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Martin Ederono's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Wilfredo Iigo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 14 minutes, Domingo Mon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rangugni F.C and the Independiente Forever players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rangugni F.C's Domingo Mon got a free kick in the 15th minute. Martin Ederono might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilfredo Iigo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Ederono ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute Luciano Lapurdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Lapurdis short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Wilfredo Iigo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rangugni F.C's Domingo Mon got his second yellow card of the match in the 30th minute. The referee ordered Domingo Mon off the ground. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 34th minute, but Wilfredo Iigo got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Rangugni F.C hanging dry this time. 3-0 became the score in the 35th minute when Luciano Lapurdi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Martin Ederono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Wilfredo Iigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Independiente Forever's Wilfredo Iigo threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luciano Lapurdi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 44 minutes of play, Independiente Forever's Martin Ederono made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilfredo Iigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Lapurdi to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Luciano Lapurdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Quin's late challenge caught a Independiente Forever's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Quin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Independiente Forever booed when Rangugni F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Quin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Independiente Forever fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Independiente Forever's Luciano Lapurdi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 66 minutes into the match, Rangugni F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Ederono came free, but Wilfredo Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Ederono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfredo Iigo came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente Forever's Martin Ederono. But to his dismay, Martin Ederono quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. With a little luck, Independiente Forever's Remigio Benet got control of the ball when Jeronimo Galeno tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes in the game, Jeronimo Galeno fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Remigio Benet having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Luciano Lapurdi made a precise shot to the right of Wilfredo Iigo. Rangugni F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Lapurdi in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfredo Iigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luciano Lapurdi took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilfredo Iigo. Wilfredo Iigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Wilfredo Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Ederono in the 88th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Independiente Forever had played much better football throughout.
