In the 5th minute Luciano Lapurdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian De Messemaecker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Luciano Lapurdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Jacobo Katia made a precise shot to the right of Remigio Benet. Independiente Forever's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Katia in the 19th minute of play forced Independiente Forever's goalkeeper Remigio Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florian De Messemaecker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Lapurdi in the 21st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Lapurdi in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florian De Messemaecker saved Redentor FC from getting behind. Esteban Matia's late challenge caught a Independiente Forever's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Matia helped the player get up and apologised. Esteban Matia kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Independiente Forever got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Felipo. Esteban Matia made in the 84th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Remigio Xabel. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Redentor FC fully deserved thier win.
