DeMarcus Bernard started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Oscar Eron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Blanco was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Inocencio Haimar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Blanco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Amancio Chabier fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Equipo Abandonado's protests and gave Amancio Chabier a yellow card for diving instead. Amancio Chabier hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, Toledo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Indalecio to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Inocencio Haimar made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Blanco. Toledo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Equipo Abandonado's Oscar Eron in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cecilio Ado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If DeMarcus Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inocencio Haimar struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Emanuel Blanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Equipo Abandonado. When Equipo Abandonado's Oscar Eron in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Toledo's goalie prevented a goal. Equipo Abandonado were furious when Anacleto Pepillo was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 43rd minute, one of Equipo Abandonado:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Equipo Abandonado. The Toledo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Equipo Abandonado were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cecilio Ado was the one to do the kick off. Inocencio Haimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Blanco having to interfere. After having played for 54 minutes, Oscar Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Equipo Abandonado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Eron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Toledo booed when Equipo Abandonado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Orlondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ladislao Bastian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toledo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Bastian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Truylos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Toledo booed when Equipo Abandonado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Haimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Equipo Abandonado's Oscar Eron got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Eron in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Oscar Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Equipo Abandonado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Eron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Blanco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nemesio Urbasa. Angel Fix hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Oscar Eron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Equipo Abandonado eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
