In the 14th minute, Placido Bakar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denny Polzin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Chepe in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Sarp Ökmen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pichichi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sarp Ökmen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Niguel. Miguel Veto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Victoro in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Sarp Ökmen came free, but Miguel Veto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Veto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sarp Ökmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pichichi's Sarp Ökmen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Sarp Ökmen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pichichi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sarp Ökmen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Esteban Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 62nd minute Marco Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Veto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Veto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Victoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Maximo Chepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denny Polzin having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sarp Ökmen in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Veto saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. If Maximo Chepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Bakar in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sarp Ökmen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Veto was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Sarp Ökmen took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Veto. Miguel Veto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Pichichi's Denny Polzin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Pichichi from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Sarp Ökmen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Veto was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. The audience was convinced that Sarp Ökmen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Veto was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Miguel Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sarp Ökmen in the 94th minute of play. Constantino Joachim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Miguel Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
