The referee ignored CA River Plate's protests and gave Omar Misael a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, CA River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Misael to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Chan made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Isaias Urre sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Nataniel in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Chan saved CA River Plate from getting behind. CA River Plate's Guillermo Chan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Pere in the 13th minute of play. Guillermo Chan made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Julio Nataniel sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, CA River Plate's Omar Misael got a free kick in the 17th minute. Isaias Urre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Guillermo Chan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Fabricio Pere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillermo Chan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Pere in the 24th minute of the match. Melquiades Blasi charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melquiades Blasi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Dr. Ernesto Guevara's Melquiades Blasi got a free kick in the 31st minute. Guillermo Chan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Blasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Guillermo Chan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godofredo Boniel hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. CA River Plate's Guillermo Chan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Iyan in the 49th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julio Nataniel to strike the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Chan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guillermo Chan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Urre in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CA River Plate's Cipriano Calisto got a free kick in the 77th minute. Julio Nataniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Chan came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dr. Ernesto Guevara's Julio Nataniel. But to his dismay, Julio Nataniel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The supporters of Dr. Ernesto Guevara booed when CA River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Guerau didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to CA River Plate getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cipriano Calisto hit a great ball. Dr. Ernesto Guevara's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
