After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Tiburcio Eufemio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de la plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Eufemio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trebol's attentive Lucas Cordaryal managed to snatch the ball when Matias Atauri made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Suarez got free with Erasmo Urki in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Tiburcio Eufemio made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Horia Moldovan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes de la plata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horia Moldovan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erasmo Urki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Estudiantes de la plata's Erasmo Urki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Suarez in the 57th minute of play. Beppe Fino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sandro Moreno came out and tried to block the shot, but Beppe Fino slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 88th minute. Adolfo Suarez kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Sandro Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Lucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Estudiantes de la plata played a much better game than Trebol and deserved their victory. The Trebol players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
