After 6 played minutes Teodosio Peru rounded CSD Jose Soldati's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Dionisio Katia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Peru in the 15th minute of play. Teodosio Peru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Concepción's Dionisio Katia threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodosio Peru, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Placido Dominic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Tabor in the 31st minute of play. Evelio Todor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dionisio Katia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. If Evelio Todor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Peru hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Concepción's Placido Dominic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Corderall in the 45th minute of play. Evelio Todor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Dionisio Katia made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodosio Peru made a kick off. When Americo Gaspard fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSD Jose Soldati's protests and gave Americo Gaspard a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CSD Jose Soldati getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Americo Gaspard hit a great ball. Evelio Todor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Placido Dominic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angel Corderall in the 66th minute. Siro Tabor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Placido Dominic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Gartxot kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Concepción booed when CSD Jose Soldati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Gaspard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute of the match Rolando Martino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dionisio Katia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Evelio Todor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th minute Teodosio Peru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Katia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Martino's late challenge caught a CSD Jose Soldati's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Martino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute Siro Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Dominic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Concepción's Teodosio Peru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dionisio Katia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Concepción had played much better football throughout.
