After 24 played minutes Saavedra Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Elias Jesco. After having played for 24 minutes, Maximiliano Matia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CARUSO F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Matia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute Gregorio Obano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Fiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 36 minutes into the game, when Elias Jesco put in a rough tackle. In the 35th minute, one of Saavedra Futbol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saavedra Futbol. Isidro Chuse hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Luciano Bidun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Bidun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Saavedra Futbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Gabirel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Humberto Caton notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Saavedra Futbol's Arturo Giraldo. Arturo Giraldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Humberto Caton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Giraldo was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CARUSO F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Saavedra Futbol had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
