The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Frederik helped the player get up and apologised. Corolina:s Lisandro Edorta showed great skill when he stopped Artemio Fagondo:s penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Micki Zöller in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Edorta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Micki Zöller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Corolina's goalkeeper Lisandro Edorta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Micki Zöller. Micki Zöller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corolina's Lisandro Edorta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micki Zöller in the 11th minute of play. Carmelo Nevada hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Rumaldo in the 16th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper Haroldo Boniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Micki Zöller in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lisandro Edorta saved Corolina from getting behind. Segundo Sengrat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Lisandro Edorta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28thth minute of the game Micki Zöller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corolina's Lisandro Edorta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Cali's Gualterio Ritchie got a free kick in the 30th minute. Gonzalo Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Haroldo Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonzalo Rumaldo was the one to do the kick off. Erik Kiss might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haroldo Boniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Kiss ran back to his position shaking his head. Corolina's Lisandro Edorta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Hanot in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Cali's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Rumaldo came free, but Haroldo Boniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Baillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Edorta having to interfere. Lisandro Edorta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micki Zöller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Frederik kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Club Deportivo Cali's Haroldo Boniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Cali from getting a goal against them. Haroldo Boniel made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Gonzalo Rumaldo sent off a good shot on target. After 79 played minutes Corolina got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Rumaldo. Patrick Baillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lisandro Edorta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Micki Zöller's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. When Club Deportivo Cali's Micki Zöller in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
