The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eduardo Kiliz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anier Quintin went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bonifacio Telmo lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Witalis Fikus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Lartaun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Joel Loren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TREN LOCO the free kick. In the 18th minute, Joel Loren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Emanuel Txanton fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. River Plate's protests and gave Emanuel Txanton a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C. A. River Plate getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Emanuel Txanton hit a great ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Angelino Erauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Erauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Arnoldo Eliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo James charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo James the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes TREN LOCO got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo James. In the 38th minute, Bruno Lartaun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to C. A. River Plate getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Angelino Erauso hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes TREN LOCO got a freekick which was hit by Anier Quintin. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when German Argenis got free with Eduardo Kiliz in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of C. A. River Plate:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of TREN LOCO:s goal. The goalkeeper, Eduardo Kiliz, was totally fooled by TREN LOCO's Anier Quintin, who 58 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to TREN LOCO getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Santiago Mikelats hit a great ball. Bruno Lartaun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Angelino Erauso made a precise shot to the right of Witalis Fikus. TREN LOCO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The supporters of TREN LOCO booed when C. A. River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Erauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Mitxaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. German Argenis scored 2-4 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduardo Kiliz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 75 played minutes TREN LOCO got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Refugio. Eduardo Kiliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Mitxaut in the 78th minute of the match. German Argenis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eduardo Kiliz firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 82nd minute, German Argenis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 84 minutes into the match, German Argenis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Kiliz. C. A. River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that German Argenis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. If German Argenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched TREN LOCO eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
