After 69 played minutes, Branca United FC's Elias Jon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gerardo Lopes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Branca United FC reached it. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Artemio Fidencio sped through Plátanos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gerardo Lopes.
