Núñez FC's Americo Florin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Urtzi in the 3rd minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Americo Florin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Nemesio Maurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Licerio kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Marciano Shepherd came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Ancasti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Shepherd couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Eloy Veronica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Núñez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Maurin came free, but Americo Florin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Núñez FC's Serafino Bonadona got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Americo Florin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubaldo Uhin went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Núñez FC booed when Ancasti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Ignatius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute Fabricio Ignatius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Florin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Ubaldo Uhin made the kick off in the second half. Americo Florin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Maurin in the 51st minute. The Núñez FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ancasti had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
