Deportivo La Resortera's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when 何适弘 scored to the left of an out of position 齐枫誉, making the score, 3-0. 齐枫誉 made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Baldomiro Bemabe sent off a good shot on target. David Higuita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmar Beltza went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute, Santo Bonifaco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Higuita was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Oto in the 42nd minute of play forced Deportivo La Resortera's goalkeeper 齐枫誉 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Baldomiro Bemabe took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for 齐枫誉 to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
