When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evaristo Abadie made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octavio Petrigai in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Raphael saved Ombucito from getting behind. The supporters of Ombucito booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Farias didn't get a good kick on the ball.
