After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Godfredo Orixe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montecarlo's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Orixe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Lertxun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guido Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Emilio Dominic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Dominic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Quintyn in the 18th minute of the match. Godfredo Orixe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 minutes, Fabio Ourente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montecarlo and the Zapala FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabio Ourente kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Zapala FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Godfredo Orixe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 30 minutes, Godfredo Orixe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montecarlo and the Zapala FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Montecarlo's Emilio Dominic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Quintyn in the 32nd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guido Quintyn was the one to do the kick off.
