Spectators: 7128 (Terracing: 5347, Seating: 1640, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Siro Lluc started the match with the kick off. Ariel Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Quilino in the 5th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Sastre got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Lucila. Anier Feliu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Cordario in the 12th minute of play forced Club Atlético Lanús's goalkeeper Guillermo Aimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Club Atlético Lanús got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Montes. In the 14th match minute, Sastre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Cordario to maneuver through the defense. The Club Atlético Lanús fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Club Atlético Lanús's Armando Quilino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejandro Ticho during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alejandro Ticho kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Lluc in the 25th minute of play forced Club Atlético Lanús's goalkeeper Guillermo Aimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Aimar came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Sastre's Siro Lluc. But to his dismay, Siro Lluc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alonzo Luken charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonzo Luken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alonzo Luken hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Siro Lluc struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Guillermo Aimar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sastre. Siro Lluc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Aimar having to interfere. Guillermo Aimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Lluc, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Siro Lluc notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Club Atlético Lanús's Guillermo Aimar. Guillermo Aimar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Quilino to make the kick off. If Siro Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Sasoin came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Guillermo Aimar could save by the left post. When Siro Lluc came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Sastre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siro Lluc couldn't finish the play. In the 65thth minute of the game Siro Lluc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Lanús's Guillermo Aimar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guillermo Aimar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Sasoin in the 69th minute. Guillermo Aimar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siro Lluc's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Jose Sasoins short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Guillermo Aimar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Jose Sasoin came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Sastre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Sasoin couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Sastre's Jose Sasoin got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Sastre's Siro Lluc in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético Lanús's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81st minute, Siro Lluc fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jose Sasoin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Guillermo Aimar made a huge save. Guillermo Aimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Lluc, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Club Atlético Lanús's Guillermo Aimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Lluc in the 96th minute of play. Sastre played a much better game than Club Atlético Lanús and deserved their victory. The Club Atlético Lanús players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
