When Delmiro Jaunti fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punta Indio's protests and gave Delmiro Jaunti a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AF Macross Galaxy booed when Punta Indio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Jaunti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, AF Macross Galaxy's Ladislao Barros got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 21 played minutes, Punta Indio's Martin Savion shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nestor Eneas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Punta Indio reached it. Nestor Eneas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Nestor Eneas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Savion in the 59th minute. Apolo Ursino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nestor Eneas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Muharrem Tuyug took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Eneas. In the 79th minute, Apolo Ursino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nestor Eneas. The goal made the score 0-4. The Punta Indio fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Punta Indio's Apolo Ursino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Muharrem Tuyug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Eneas having to interfere. When the match was over Punta Indio could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AF Macross Galaxy throughout the match.
