Desiderio Cambranes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Carlomagno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute Jonatan Mano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Joanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Mantzio hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match Fidel Totakoxe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristobal Joanes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Palmar's Santiago Mino got a free kick in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Miraflores FC's Cristobal Joanes got control of the ball when Jonatan Mano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Palmar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Mino to maneuver through the defense. Palmar's Desiderio Cambranes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Dacio in the 18th minute of play. After 25 minutes, Mauro Mateo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmar and the Miraflores FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Palmar got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Mateo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Mateo got free with Cristobal Joanes in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laércio Perez in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Cambranes saved Palmar from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Palmar's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Carlomagno came free, but Desiderio Cambranes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Manos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Cristobal Joanes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 37 played minutes Miraflores FC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Joey. Laércio Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Cambranes having to interfere. Desiderio Cambranes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Carlomagno in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Carlomagno was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Laércio Perez took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Desiderio Cambranes to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 56 minutes, Laércio Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miraflores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laércio Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Mateo in the 58th minute of play forced Miraflores FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Joanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Joanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Mano, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Palmar's Hilario Abreu suffered a sore thigh after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Mantzio during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Palmar's Cosme Sesuldo was substituted for Hilario Abreu. After 62 played minutes, Palmar's Fidel Totakoxe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristobal Joanes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palmar reached it. Laércio Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Desiderio Cambranes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play, Palmar's Jonatan Mano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Joanes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Carlomagno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute Jonatan Mano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Joanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Joey hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Laércio Perez struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Desiderio Cambranes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miraflores FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Ordono during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, one of Palmar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Palmar. Leo Joey shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Palmar's Desiderio Cambranes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Palmar from getting a goal against them. Miraflores FC's Cristobal Joanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Mano in the 99th minute of play. Miraflores FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
