Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laércio Perez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 6th match minute, Miraflores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Joey to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Joanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Ixona in the 7th minute of the match. Diego Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes in the game, Diego Carlomagno dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Diego Carlomagno put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wilfredo Lain. In the 20th minute of the match Hornillos got a corner. Miraflores FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eriberto Karlo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Eriberto Karlo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Miraflores FC's Cristobal Joanes did a great save. A collision led to Hornillos getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ignacio Bonifaco hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Segundo Ixona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Miraflores FC's Cristobal Joanes got control of the ball when Alejandro Abechuco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Mantzio hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Wilfredo Lain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Carlomagno in the 35th minute of the match. If Laércio Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Miraflores FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gaudencio Bordat fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Laércio Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilfredo Lain read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Carlomagno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Hornillos's Ignacio Bonifaco got a free kick in the 55th minute. Laércio Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Wilfredo Lain made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Laércio Perez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Wilfredo Lain, passed just outside the right post. If Diego Carlomagno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64thth minute of the game Diego Carlomagno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hornillos's Wilfredo Lain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilfredo Lain was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diego Carlomagno showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 66 minute of play. After 76 played minutes Hornillos got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Oalo. Miraflores FC's David Rameriz was substituted for Diego Carlomagno. Wilfredo Lain acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leo Joey. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Rameriz in the 80th minute of play forced Hornillos's goalkeeper Wilfredo Lain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laércio Perez got free with Wilfredo Lain in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Rameriz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilfredo Lain came out and tried to block the shot, but David Rameriz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 83rd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hornillos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! In the 90th minute, Miraflores FC got a penalty, and Leo Joey placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Wilfredo Lain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Rameriz's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. When the match was over Miraflores FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hornillos throughout the match.
