Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedro Fero kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Pedro Fero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejandro Urtzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Fero in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Urtzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th match minute, Portugalete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Patxi to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Ezpeleta F.C.'s Domingos Saturnin tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Pedro Fero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejandro Urtzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Fero in the 17th minute of play forced Portugalete's goalkeeper Alejandro Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Portugalete got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Johans. Pedro Fero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alejandro Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Patxi during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mauro Patxi kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Portugalete's Alejandro Urtzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Fero in the 22nd minute of play. Efrain Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Urtzi having to interfere. In the 28th minute Efrain Quirce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Frances showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Primo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Portugalete's Mauro Patxi got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nereo Salvator charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nereo Salvator the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nereo Salvator hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Gilberto Johans might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaac Frances. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Johans ran back to his position shaking his head. After 43 minutes, Gilberto Johans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portugalete and the Ezpeleta F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Portugalete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Johans to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Efrain Quirce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Bartolo Raphael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Alejandro Urtzi made a huge save. Pedro Fero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Portugalete's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Fero came free, but Alejandro Urtzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evelio Primo during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Portugalete getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Evelio Primo hit a great ball. Alejandro Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Fero in the 64th minute of play. Mauro Patxi kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Efrain Quirce came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ezpeleta F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Quirce couldn't finish the play. Efrain Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Urtzi having to interfere. Efrain Quirce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Mauro Patxi made a precise shot to the right of Isaac Frances. Ezpeleta F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Evelio Primo might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaac Frances. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evelio Primo ran back to his position shaking his head. Efrain Quirce struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Alejandro Urtzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ezpeleta F.C.. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Fero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alejandro Urtzi. That made the score 1-3 in the 92 minute of play. Alejandro Urtzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Quirce in the 96th minute.
