With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Fero in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Enol saved Black Knights from getting behind. The supporters of Black Knights booed when Ezpeleta F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Emesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Black Knights's Silvano Lander broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ezpeleta F.C.'s Efrain Quirce got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Black Knights players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ezpeleta F.C. were winning 0-3.

The Black Knights fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The Ezpeleta F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ezpeleta F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
