After 6 played minutes, Plutardibux's Bernardino Firmin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Feliberto Lartaun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Plutardibux reached it. After 7 played minutes Nelson got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Erasto. Silvio Erasto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Isaac Venerando made a huge save. Gustavo Lano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Lartaun having to interfere. In the 15th minute Gustavo Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Lartaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelson's Feliberto Lartaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Lano in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Hector Kiliz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nelson's Feliberto Lartaun. Feliberto Lartaun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silvio Erasto kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Hector Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Lartaun having to interfere. A collision led to Nelson getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Silvio Erasto hit a great ball. When Plutardibux's Hector Kiliz in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nelson's goalie prevented a goal. Gustavo Lano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Lartaun having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Hector Kiliz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliberto Lartaun was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Gustavo Lano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliberto Lartaun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. If Hector Kiliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Nelson players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Plutardibux were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Kiliz to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Nelson's zone, Gustavo Lano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Lartaun came out of the goal and Gustavo Lano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nelson's Erubiel Joachim got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Nelson's Freddy Libertad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaac Venerando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Lano in the 64th minute of play forced Nelson's goalkeeper Feliberto Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Lartaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Isaac Venerando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Porfiro in the 67th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Nelson got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Erasto. 77 minutes into the match, Nelson's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Kiliz came free, but Feliberto Lartaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Plutardibux's Hector Kiliz got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustavo Lano struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Feliberto Lartaun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plutardibux. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Lordi during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucas Lordi kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Plutardibux's Uriel Remigio tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hector Kiliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Lano might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliberto Lartaun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Lano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Erubiel Joachim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Plutardibux's Hector Kiliz got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nelson's Feliberto Lartaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Lano in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Plutardibux could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nelson throughout the match.
