Spectators: 7034 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1644, VIP seats: 140) Strømsgodset IF's Evelio Montrel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Evelio Montrel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Raid Five.F.C booed when Strømsgodset IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Urbez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Diaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Montrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evelio Montrel took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Diaz. Martin Diaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 30th minute of the match German Erdiano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Diaz skillfully saved the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Evelio Montrel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martin Diaz. Evelio Montrel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Strømsgodset IF's Salvador Urbez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ramon Guipuzkoa, made in the 55th minute of the game. Evelio Montrel might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Diaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evelio Montrel ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, Strømsgodset IF's Cristo Seme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Diaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Strømsgodset IF's Luis Ourente managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Honorato Niva in the 63 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Evelio Montrel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Diaz was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. A collision led to Strømsgodset IF getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Salvador Urbez hit a great ball. Jonathan Paul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Lázaro Cordareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Raid Five.F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Strømsgodset IF:s goal. Santiago Martinez shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Evelio Montrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Diaz having to interfere. Hermengildo Regis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Diaz. Raid Five.F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 100th minute, Evelio Montrel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
