Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alonzo Lano to make the kick off. Alanices's Rosendo Beltza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Lano in the 61st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Petri got free with Rosendo Beltza in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermengildo Esquipula charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Senon in the 89th minute of play forced Chaleco AFC's goalkeeper Rolando Lluc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Lluc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Estebe in the 92nd minute of the match. Victorio Estebe got in the 92nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Rolando Lluc handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar.
