Gavino Roano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gavino Roano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Petri in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Oinatz during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfonso Oinatz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonzo Lano in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavino Roano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gavino Roano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Petri in the 21st minute. When Vilelas FC's Virgilio Quintyn in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chaleco AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Vilelas FC's Desiderio Cordarrell got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Chaleco AFC's Arnulfo Petri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Arnulfo Petri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gavino Roano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alonzo Lano came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Chaleco AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Lano couldn't finish the play. Gavino Roano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Lano in the 36th minute of the match. If Alonzo Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgilio Quintyn to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Joaquin Chumo made a precise shot to the right of Gavino Roano. Vilelas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. A collision led to Chaleco AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Osvaldo Emenon hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Petri in the 60th minute of play forced Vilelas FC's goalkeeper Gavino Roano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Chumo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Roano having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Alonzo Lano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chaleco AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Lano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vilelas FC's Alfonso Oinatz got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Alfonso Oinatz off the ground. Chaleco AFC's attack was well implemented in the 80th minute, but when Arnulfo Petri was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Gavino Roano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute Arnulfo Petri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Roano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Chaleco AFC's Alonzo Lano in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Vilelas FC's zone, Arnulfo Petri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Roano came out of the goal and Arnulfo Petri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chaleco AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
