After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernan Ralondo to strike the kick off in the second half. Horacio Mark's late challenge caught a Chacarita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Mark helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Chacarita got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Mark. Tobias Romo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes Chacarita got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Paulin. 85 minutes into the game, Leonardo Domenec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chacarita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita the free kick. Leonardo Domenec kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Cecilio Jesco might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaias Lizar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cecilio Jesco ran back to his position shaking his head. Basilio Paulin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isaias Lizar came out and tried to block the shot, but Basilio Paulin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 88th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chacarita fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty!
