When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Edgardo Thomas sped through Corrales's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amadeo Aztore. La Vecchia Signora's Baldomero Oliviero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Gotzon in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Constantino Fiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corrales fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Baldomero Oliviero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Gotzon in the 19th minute of play. Amadeo Aztore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Dolcet in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, La Vecchia Signora's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Fiz came free, but Baldomero Oliviero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Iker Dolcet came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the La Vecchia Signora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Dolcet couldn't finish the play. Amadeo Aztore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Dolcet in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Arnulfo Gotzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Oliviero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Corrales getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Constantino Fiz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Corrales's zone, Edgardo Thomas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Aztore came out of the goal and Edgardo Thomas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 minutes, Edgardo Thomas made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Corrales's Amadeo Aztore tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dionisio Amaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeo Aztore having to make a save. When Iker Dolcet came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the La Vecchia Signora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Dolcet couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Corrales's Uriel Manex got a free kick in the 40th minute. Baldomero Oliviero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Fiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomero Oliviero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Ixidor in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgardo Thomas to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Edgardo Thomas put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Amadeo Aztore. Iker Dolcet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Gotzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Baldomero Oliviero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Nesor in the 68th minute of play forced La Vecchia Signora's goalkeeper Baldomero Oliviero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Dionisio Amaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeo Aztore. Corrales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dionisio Amaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The crowd rose to their feet as La Vecchia Signora's Edgardo Thomas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amadeo Aztore. That made the score 1-5 after 78 minutes of play. In the 82nd play minute Dionisio Amaya came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Amadeo Aztore. 1-6. 85 minutes in the game, Dionisio Amaya fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Amadeo Aztore having to interfere. Amadeo Aztore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Thomas in the 91st minute. Edgardo Thomas in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amadeo Aztore, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edgardo Thomas might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeo Aztore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Thomas ran back to his position shaking his head.
