Anselmo Giro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Frutos in the 31st minute of the match. Gualter Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Txeru in the 33rd minute. Gualter Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unión de Metalúrgicos's Bernardo Tab got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Bernardo Tab made a precise shot to the right of Gualter Vale. Poma AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.
