In the 36th match minute, Gaboto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Licerio to maneuver through the defense. Herminio Egoi hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. A collision led to Horcones FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Anastasio Bladi hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 55th minute, Ulises Benat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulises Benats short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Modesto Oliverios to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luis Eguntsenti hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Danilo Fresco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Oliverios having to interfere. Horcones FC's Modesto Oliverios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Horcones FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Horcones FC's zone, Danilo Fresco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Oliverios came out of the goal and Danilo Fresco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute Ulises Benat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Oliverios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artemio Mirande showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Benicio Rufio came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Horcones FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Rufio couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Ildefonso Otsando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Modesto Oliverios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Benat in the 92nd minute of the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Ulises Benat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaboto 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Benat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaboto were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
