In the 2nd minute, Silverio Eder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Saul Cordarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Santikurtz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A.Villa Belgrano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elpidio Jenaro was slow to take the kick. During this time TGG's players had a chance to rest. After 22 minutes, Patricio Iratzeder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Villa Belgrano and the TGG players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Patricio Iratzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the game, Saul Cordarin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pablo Santikurtz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, TGG's Cristiano Jesus got control of the ball when Paulino Rodriguez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristiano Jesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Iratzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, C.A.Villa Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Jurdan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 34 minutes, Angel Goyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TGG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Goyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.Villa Belgrano's goalkeeper Pablo Santikurtz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Desiderio Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Pablo Santikurtz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Santikurtz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Iraido in the 44th minute of the match. TGG's Angel Goyo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half TGG were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Pablo Santikurtz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saul Cordarin went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Saul Cordarin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Pablo Santikurtz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Saul Cordarin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pablo Santikurtz was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Pablo Santikurtz made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Angel Goyo sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Silverio Eder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pablo Santikurtz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saul Cordarin's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Marcial Ovando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.Villa Belgrano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TGG the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Villa Belgrano's zone, Jacobo Emenon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Santikurtz came out of the goal and Jacobo Emenon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the game, Angel Goyo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Pablo Santikurtz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pablo Santikurtz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Cordarin in the 80th minute. Desiderio Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Pablo Santikurtz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, C.A.Villa Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Cordarin came free, but Pablo Santikurtz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Cordarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Pablo Santikurtz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Saul Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Filomeno Fe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute, Saul Cordarin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pablo Santikurtz, passed just outside the right post. The C.A.Villa Belgrano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. TGG were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
