In the 9th minute, Orlando Abancens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Segundo Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Ovando having to interfere. Segundo Hori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mendoza City F.C's Natalio Constancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Tab in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Mendoza City F.C getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Orlando Abancens hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Rene Tab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo yupanqui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Tab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natalio Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Tab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Segundo Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Ovando having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lázaro Baristo in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Ovando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mendoza City F.C's Segundo Hori got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rene Tab made a kick off. Benicio Ovando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Segundo Hori went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the game, Anselmo Eron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo yupanqui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mendoza City F.C the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo yupanqui's Anselmo Eron got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Segundo Hori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Lázaro Baristo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute of the match Fabio Niva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benicio Ovando skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Hori in the 69th minute of play forced Club Deportivo yupanqui's goalkeeper Benicio Ovando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mendoza City F.C's Segundo Hori in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Deportivo yupanqui's goalie prevented a goal. If Segundo Hori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. In the 84th minute, Silverio Karlo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Segundo Hori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Benicio Ovando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Tab's late challenge caught a Mendoza City F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Tab helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mendoza City F.C booed when Club Deportivo yupanqui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Tab didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mendoza City F.C had played much better football throughout.
