Spectators: 6642 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 0) Sauce FC's Luisito Frantzes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Epifanio Ondino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Polo in the 7th minute of play forced Sauce FC's goalkeeper Cesar Eguerdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sauce FC's Cesar Eguerdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Polo in the 18th minute of play. When Basilio Bikendi came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Sauce FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Bikendi couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Luisito Frantzes made a precise shot to the right of Siro Jacindo. Ñorquín FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Epifanio Ondino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesar Eguerdi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Ñorquín FC were awarded a corner. Cosme Ruy went to the cornerflag to take it. Cesar Eguerdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Polo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 45 played minutes Ñorquín FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Gonzales. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Dante Barea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sauce FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Barea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Jacindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ubaldo Polo made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Sauce FC's Luisito Frantzes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Cosme Ruy hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ubaldo Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ñorquín FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Polo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Eguerdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, Ubaldo Polo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sauce FC's Cesar Eguerdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Polo in the 74th minute of play. Luisito Frantzes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Ondino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cesar Eguerdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Basilio Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sauce FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sauce FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
