Spectators: 7139 (Terracing: 5355, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) Jóystïck XXVIII's Edgard Pierres started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the match Tiburcio Dolfo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donato Chayo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Saverio Jakue was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Honorato Eriz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Honorato Eriz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Saverio Jakue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorato Eriz in the 9th minute. Leonides Sandaili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonides Sandaili was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Jóystïck XXVIII getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rodrigo Mantzio hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the game, Prospero Urtun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Donato Chayo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Jóystïck XXVIII's Saverio Jakue got control of the ball when Leonides Sandaili tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saverio Jakue acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tomás Garcia. When Edgard Pierres came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Jóystïck XXVIII fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Pierres couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Segundo James managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Cavernas's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo James was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saverio Jakue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Luzaide in the 43rd minute of play forced Deportivo Cavernas's goalkeeper Donato Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Jaime Luzaide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jóystïck XXVIII's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Cavernas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Jóystïck XXVIII's Jaime Luzaide got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Pierres in the 49th minute of play forced Deportivo Cavernas's goalkeeper Donato Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 57 minutes, Arnaldo Vedillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Cavernas and the Jóystïck XXVIII players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Cavernas getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Arnaldo Vedillo hit a great ball. Deportivo Cavernas's Donato Chayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Cavernas from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Cavernas's Nunez Luzaide got a free kick in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Deportivo Cavernas's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Pierres came free, but Donato Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Deportivo Cavernas getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ognyan Búchvarov hit a great ball. Donato Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Pierres in the 70th minute of play. Saverio Jakue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Sandaili in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Leonides Sandaili's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saverio Jakue was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Tobias Norino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th match minute, Deportivo Cavernas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Vedillo to maneuver through the defense. Leonides Sandaili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute of the match, Prospero Urtun got a very nice opportunity to score, but Donato Chayo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 96th minute of the match Tomás Garcia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saverio Jakue showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Despite being the better team, Deportivo Cavernas failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
