The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ezequiel Cirigliano charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Cirigliano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Galeros F.C's Thodoris Katsanis got a free kick in the 4th minute. Jose Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Valentine in the 9th minute of play. When Galeros F.C's Fabricio Oier in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Pueyrredon's goalie prevented a goal. Jimeno Joey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Bastian having to interfere. Jose Bastian came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Galeros F.C's Nicanor Valentine. But to his dismay, Nicanor Valentine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Jimeno Joey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Bastian. Club Pueyrredon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimeno Joey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Leo Chorache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alfonso Leheren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Pueyrredon's Jose Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Oier in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Galeros F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabricio Oier to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Valentine blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Bastian having to make a save. 53 minutes into the match, Nicanor Valentine notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Club Pueyrredon's Jose Bastian. Jose Bastian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jose Bastian made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Fabricio Oier sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 62 minutes, Conrado Nerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Pueyrredon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Nerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Chorache kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Fabricio Oier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galeros F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabricio Oier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Bastian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, Jaime Emeterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Joey got free with Jose Bastian in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Conrado Nerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jimeno Joey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galeros F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Joey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Bastian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabricio Oier did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Jose Bastian 83 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Nicanor Valentine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Bastian was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Jimeno Joey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Conrado Nerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Alfonso Leheren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Galeros F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Pueyrredon throughout the match.
