Silverio Gelacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Filomeno Videl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Chuquentinos's Luciano Chano got control of the ball when Delmiro Poncio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luciano Chano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Maraman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Chuquentinos's zone, Reynaldo Maraman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Chano came out of the goal and Reynaldo Maraman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luciano Chano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Poncio in the 42nd minute of play. Reynaldo Maraman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. SANTISA FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 73rd minute Reynaldo Maraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Chano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Reynaldo Maraman made a precise shot to the right of Luciano Chano. Chuquentinos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Ricardo Celio came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Guido Maurino could save by the left post. If Primitivo Corderall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
