The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Artemio Bernaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Delmiro Nevada made a huge save. In the 85th minute Aureliano Colas suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in General Urquiza MDP fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Cristian Colon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colastiné's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Colon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
