The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Denis Anaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Furtado came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Sur Granate FC's Aleksander Porajewski. But to his dismay, Aleksander Porajewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 11 played minutes Agustina FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Lamberto. Jacobo Mitxel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Agustina FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sur Granate FC:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Porajewski in the 28th minute of play forced Agustina FC's goalkeeper Benito Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Agustina FC defense, Denis Anaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Furtado. The Agustina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Furtado should have stopped the shot. Prudencio Duardo struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Adrian Remigio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agustina FC. Agustina FC's Benito Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Anaya in the 40th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Sur Granate FC's goalkeeper Adrian Remigio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prudencio Duardo. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denis Anaya was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sur Granate FC's goalkeeper Adrian Remigio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute Prudencio Duardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Remigio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Remigio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Diagur, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Agustina FC's Benito Furtado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Agustina FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Duardo in the 72nd minute of play forced Sur Granate FC's goalkeeper Adrian Remigio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sur Granate FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Baldomero Goiz was slow to take the kick. During this time Agustina FC's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Sur Granate FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Julian Pedroso hit a great ball. The supporters of Agustina FC booed when Sur Granate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sur Granate FC's Baltasar Fernandes was substituted for Baldomero Sesuldo. A collision led to Sur Granate FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Julian Pedroso hit a great ball. Agustina FC's Baldomero Goiz took a good shot, in the 78th minute, which hit the crossbar above Adrian Remigio's head, and flew over the goal. Sur Granate FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Agustina FC. When the match had been going on for 78 minutes Baldomero Goiz shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Adrian Remigio when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Luciano Kismi's late challenge caught a Sur Granate FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Kismi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Agustina FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Luciano Kismi hit a great ball. Sur Granate FC's Wilfredo Bernal was substituted for Vicente Turi. With a little luck, Agustina FC's Benito Furtado got control of the ball when Denis Anaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Denis Anaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Denis Anaya made a precise shot to the right of Benito Furtado. Agustina FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 94 minutes into the game, Prudencio Duardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Adrian Remigio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Agustina FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sur Granate FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
