When Mateo Eutropio came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Millonarios FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Eutropio couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Ruben Pirro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertil Lindsten. Millonarios FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruben Pirro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Despite being the better team, Millonarios FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
