Arnulfo Aballe's late challenge caught a Kekambas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnulfo Aballe helped the player get up and apologised. Los Rebos's Martin Galeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Firmin in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Rebos's Mauricio Txaran got a free kick in the 11th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Luís Reis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Paolo Etor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Galeno having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Sebastian Firmin made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Los Rebos's Martin Galeno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th match minute, Kekambas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Cilio to maneuver through the defense. Kekambas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Mauricio Txaran scored to the left of an out of position Ildefonso Guifre, making the score, 2-1. Sebastian Firmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Galeno having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Zé Augusto Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kekambas's Sebastian Firmin got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Galeno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Benvido's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. If Felipe Benvido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Reis was the one to do the kick off. Luís Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Reis in the 55th minute of play forced Kekambas's goalkeeper Ildefonso Guifre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Augusto Vides charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Augusto Vides the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Los Rebos defense, Sebastian Firmin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Galeno. The Los Rebos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Galeno should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Los Rebos's Luís Reis got a free kick in the 68th minute. With his leg Martin Galeno managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Kekambas's Felipe Benvido fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sebastian Firmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Cecilio Bartoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Mauricio Txaran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ildefonso Guifre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Txaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Los Rebos booed when Kekambas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Walme didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Los Rebos getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Arnulfo Aballe hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Los Rebos's goalkeeper Martin Galeno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Benvido. Sebastian Firmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Galeno having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Benvido kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Galeno. That made the score 2-3 in the 97 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Kekambas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Rebos.
