Lino Gaskon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, one of Borussia Dortmund:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Los Abuelos de Pastillas a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tito Titov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Borussia Dortmund's Gonzalo Bingen. 2-1. Lino Gaskon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 48th minute. Los Abuelos de Pastillas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Gaskon was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Los Abuelos de Pastillas booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Bibiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Abuelos de Pastillas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
