When Amancio Gaskon fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Huracan's protests and gave Amancio Gaskon a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Huracan's Cristobal Montel got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, Benicio Javiero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Club Atletico Huracan's Tomas Demario in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 31st minute, Bermejo's Artemio Munio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Desiderio Lazcano. Desiderio Lazcano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Desiderio Lazcano made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Alonzo Goizeder sent off a good shot on target. After 37 minutes, Ricardo Opilano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Huracan and the Bermejo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Atletico Huracan getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ricardo Opilano hit a great ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Tomas Demario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Huracan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Demario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Vinicio Estavan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Huracan's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Estavan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Haimar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the game, Tomas Demario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Fausto Haimar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

A collision led to Club Atletico Huracan getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Teodoro Cidro hit a great ball. Desiderio Lazcano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Herensuge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Bazkoare in the 62nd minute of play forced Club Atletico Huracan's goalkeeper Desiderio Lazcano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Club Atletico Huracan got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Gaskon. After 64 played minutes, Bermejo's Benicio Javiero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Desiderio Lazcano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bermejo reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Artemio Munio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bermejo's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Munio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Lazcano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Desiderio Lazcano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Herensuge went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Club Atletico Huracan's Desiderio Lazcano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Goizeder in the 78th minute of play. Desiderio Lazcano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Herensuge, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Vinicio Estavan might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fausto Haimar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vinicio Estavan ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bermejo had played much better football throughout.
