A collision led to Pulgar Verde SC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. The supporters of Progresso booed when Pulgar Verde SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Iruinea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pulgar Verde SC's goalkeeper Primitivo Lluques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Pulgar Verde SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Progresso's performance. The match ended with a win for Progresso.
