In the 39th minute Juan Quexal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Ulizes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 47 minutes on the clock, Joel Ado commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 47 minutes into the game, one of Moreira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

With a little luck, Moreira's Anacleto Ulizes got control of the ball when Juan Quexal tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Cordarrell in the 87th minute of play forced Belgrano de Primera's goalkeeper Miguel Faron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Juan Quexal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
