An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Millrick in the 13th minute of play forced Cayastá's goalkeeper Ciro Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Recalde's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Aires came free, but Adrian Beltxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Gomez in the 21st minute of play forced Cayastá's goalkeeper Ciro Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gogo Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ciro Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Marco Millrick cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ciro Roderigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Cayastá getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Basilio Aires hit a great ball. Marco Millrick blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Roderigo having to make a save. Ignacio Felipillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Cayastá's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Millrick came free, but Ciro Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacio Felipillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignacio Felipillos short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Adrian Beltxe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

Adrian Beltxe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignacio Felipillo went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 66 minutes in the game, Gogo Gomez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ciro Roderigo having to interfere. Adrian Beltxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Recalde's Marco Millrick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Roderigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Basilio Aires notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Recalde's Adrian Beltxe. Adrian Beltxe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th minute Ignacio Felipillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Millrick struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ciro Roderigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Recalde. 86 minutes into the match, Cayastá's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Gomez came free, but Ciro Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cipriano Ler fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Recalde's protests and gave Cipriano Ler a yellow card for diving instead. Cipriano Ler hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Ignacio Felipillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cayastá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Felipillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ariel Paul charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ariel Paul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th match minute, Recalde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Paul to maneuver through the defense. When Ignacio Felipillo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Cayastá fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Felipillo couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cayastá fans cheered their team off the field, for while Recalde had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
