Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Genaro Maureo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Genaro Maureo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramon Honesto having to make a save. In the 8th minute, Anacleto Lehior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Criston missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 10 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Gilberto Franco right hand side. Juventud Unida's Gilberto Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Etxeberri in the 12th minute of play. Fernan Viviano kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Arnulfo Bastia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Homeros's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Bastia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Franco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Juventud Unida's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Etxeberri came free, but Gilberto Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Criston hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The long shot by Camilo Beltxe in the 25th minute really tested Ramon Honesto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gilberto Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Salbatore in the 28th minute of the match. Juventud Unida's Gilberto Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Bastia in the 30th minute of play. Jeremias Indar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ramon Honesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Maureo's late challenge caught a Los Homeros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Maureo helped the player get up and apologised. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedicto Salbatore made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Salbatore in the 53rd minute of play forced Juventud Unida's goalkeeper Gilberto Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnulfo Bastia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, David Jaunzuria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilberto Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Roldanillo in the 66th minute of play. Juventud Unida's Feliciano Marquez suffered a concussion after 69 minutes and had to leave the field. After 69 minutes, Damian Criston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Homeros and the Juventud Unida players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juventud Unida's Cirilo Montxo was substituted for Feliciano Marquez. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramon Honesto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gilberto Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Salbatore in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Juventud Unida getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Fabio Donzel hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Benedicto Salbatore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Homeros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
