Cristo Santio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Hartz, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Eugenio Furtado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Enmanuel in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Silvio Silvanito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eugenio Furtado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute Lorenzo Rudolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Santio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Dalmu in the 20th minute of play forced Sacachispas FC's goalkeeper Cristo Santio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacachispas FC's Gilberto Enmanuel came free and shot a quick shot against goal 22 minutes in the game, fortunately Eugenio Furtado had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 25 minutes into the match, Saladillo's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Olentzaro came free, but Eugenio Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Silvio Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Santio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Orlan in the 33rd minute of the match. If Godfredo Olentzaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Camerino in the 41st minute of play forced Sacachispas FC's goalkeeper Cristo Santio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacachispas FC's Cristo Santio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Orlan in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauro Orlan to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Sacachispas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Orlan came free, but Cristo Santio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benigno Canor hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Saul Camerino kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Eugenio Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Olentzaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sacachispas FC's Pablo Phelipe quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Silvestre Hartz, made in the 66th minute of the game. In the 71st minute of the game Silvestre Hartz made a throw-in which Saul Camerino played forward. 73 minutes into the game, Saul Camerino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristo Santio. Saul Camerino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After 75 played minutes, Saladillo's Ramiro Guib shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristo Santio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saladillo reached it. After having played for 77 minutes, Silvio Silvanito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sacachispas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Silvanito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Godfredo Olentzaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Dalmu kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Saladillo's Mauro Orlan got a free kick in the 87th minute. The supporters of Sacachispas FC booed when Saladillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Dalmu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Saladillo's zone, Godfredo Olentzaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Furtado came out of the goal and Godfredo Olentzaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristo Santio made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Leonardo Dalmu sent off a good shot on target. Sacachispas FC's Cristo Santio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Rudolfo in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Saladillo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
