The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Carabajal AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Racing Club de Avellaneda:s goal. Uriel Eguzki shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Urbez in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Raebert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfonso Urbez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacinto Raebert. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Ladislao Jurgi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Celestino Koldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Carabajal AFC's zone, Victor Erruki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Raebert came out of the goal and Victor Erruki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute of the game, Bartolo Koldobika landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Turi during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Victor Erruki came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Racing Club de Avellaneda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Erruki couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Erruki got free with Jacinto Raebert in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute of the match, Victor Erruki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacinto Raebert was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Erruki got free with Jacinto Raebert in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Erruki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ladislao Jurgi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Koldo having to interfere. Racing Club de Avellaneda's Celestino Koldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Jurgi in the 45th minute of play. Victor Erruki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Erruki to make the kick off. Octavio Breogan hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Victor Erruki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Raebert. Carabajal AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Erruki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Victor Erruki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Victor Erruki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Raebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ladislao Jurgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victor Erruki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Raebert having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Victor Erruki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club de Avellaneda's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Erruki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Raebert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogelio Herrera charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogelio Herrera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Carabajal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Herrera. Jacinto Raebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Erruki in the 70th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Carabajal AFC's zone, Octavio Breogan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Raebert came out of the goal and Octavio Breogan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Raebert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Erruki, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Carabajal AFC's zone, Alfonso Urbez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Raebert came out of the goal and Alfonso Urbez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ladislao Jurgi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Celestino Koldo made a huge save. Jacinto Raebert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Erruki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd match minute, Carabajal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Mercurio to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Carabajal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Urbez came free, but Jacinto Raebert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Carabajal AFC's zone, Victor Erruki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Raebert came out of the goal and Victor Erruki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Racing Club de Avellaneda were the better team. Racing Club de Avellaneda's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
