Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Russell's Santos Obeko started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Victorino Ramirez was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Eliseo Filipo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliseo Filipo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Eliseo Filipo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Victorino Ramirez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Estevez in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Mano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th match minute, Russell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Banegas to maneuver through the defense. If Laureano Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Laureano Estevez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Mano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 24th minute, Hermengildo Eriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Santos Obeko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victorino Ramirez. The goal made the score 2-1. Hocker FC's Victorino Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Banegas in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Laureano Estevez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Mano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laureano Estevez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Russell's goalkeeper Abelardo Mano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Estevez. After some careless play in the Hocker FC defense, Santos Obeko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorino Ramirez. The Hocker FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Ramirez should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute, Jimeno Banegas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorino Ramirez was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 64th match minute, Russell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Filipo to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes Hocker FC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Belasko. After a rather tough play, Hocker FC's Hermengildo Eriz got a free kick in the 68th minute. Eliseo Filipo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Victorino Ramirez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Russell. Victorino Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Filipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Russell's Santos Obeko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victorino Ramirez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laureano Estevez during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Victorino Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Filipo in the 83rd minute of play. Carmelo Gizon hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Eliseo Filipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Ramirez having to interfere. Jose Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Mano having to interfere. If Laureano Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jose Faro came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Hocker FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Faro couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Russell players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
