Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Palermo's Godfredo Neto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Palermo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Luisito Teodor scored to the left of an out of position Nicanor Firmo, making the score, 1-0. Fidel Raymond hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 14 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Amaya. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Justo Claude managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Foxes's supporters rose to their feet, but Justo Claude was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Firmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Luisito Teodor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicanor Firmo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Abel Arias got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Teodor came free, but Nicanor Firmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jiang Lei Kun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Firmo having to interfere. Luisito Teodor struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Nicanor Firmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Foxes. Luisito Teodor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Nicanor Firmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisito Teodor in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicanor Firmo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Luisito Teodor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Nicanor Firmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palermo's Nicanor Firmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Teodor in the 54th minute of play. Nicanor Firmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Teodor, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Raymond to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Firmo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Red Foxes's Luisito Teodor shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Arias in the 62nd minute of play forced Red Foxes's goalkeeper Boncho Sungarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Palermo booed when Red Foxes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Gonchan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aureliano Dominic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicanor Firmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Luisito Teodor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palermo's Nicanor Firmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisito Teodor in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicanor Firmo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes into the match, Justo Claude had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicanor Firmo. Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justo Claude was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Amadeo Feliu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boncho Sungarski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Luisito Teodor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Firmo came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Foxes's Luisito Teodor. But to his dismay, Luisito Teodor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Red Foxes fully deserved thier win.
